Business Situation:

NELCO was looking to better manage their customer information, sales pipeline and overall visibility into the relationships involved with every project. Without a centralized information management system a good portion of their time was spent searching for information housed in various silos across the organization and within people’s heads. They decided it was time to invest in a system that would help centralize company information with the ultimate goal of eventually streamlining operations across sales, marketing and service departments. NELCO wanted a solution that would work within their existing infrastructure, ensure high user adoption and would be scalable and grow with their business.

Solution Overview:

NELCO enlisted the help of AbleBridge to assist them with their Microsoft Dynamics CRM implementation project. NELCO’s decision to partner with AbleBridge was based on the breadth of experience AbleBridge had successfully implementing CRM solutions over the past decade as well as their expertise with the Microsoft Dynamics CRM product. AbleBridge took NELCO through their implementation methodology which started with defining the business requirements. It was clear the immediate need was to consolidate customer and prospect information and create a consistent operating rhythm where they could accurately measure and manage sales pipeline. Measuring total sales pipeline across each product, territory, sales producer and sales stage was important visibility into the organization that NELCO was looking to implement in Phase 1 of the project.

AbleBridge worked with NELCO to translate their business requirements into functional system requirements. Once the functional requirements were defined AbleBridge executed on a functional Proof of Concept, customizations, data migration, installation and overall project management of the implementation.

Today NELCO utilizes Microsoft Dynamics CRM across many facets of the organization. It is a very important tool utilized by sales management to measure sales production against sales goals, forecasting sales opportunities across product lines and accurately rate the stage of each opportunity according to NELCO’s sales process.

The Microsoft Dynamics CRM implementation has proved very successful and NELCO is extremely pleased with the outcome. The ability to have a 360 degree view of their clients while streamlining their existing business processes has created an intuitive work environment for all of NELCO’s employees.
